PISTON CLOSED CIRCUIT - MOBILE

Eaton’s offers a wide range of Closed Circuit piston pumps for medium duty application for Mobile markets. Eaton medium duty closed circuit products are used to form the pump/ motor hydraulic system and are best suited for applications requiring mid-range power (< 85 HP engines) and system pressures (< 380 Bar/5500 PSI). Eaton is a recognized leader in heavy-duty hydrostatic piston products for mobile and industrial applications. The Series 1, Series 2 & Bent-Axis core products are supplemented with new pump-mounted electronic controls, from a simple electronic proportional (EP) displacement control to the sophisticated multiplex control with CAN communications for displacement and pressure control.

The Eaton® Light Duty, Models 7, 11 Hydrostatic Pumps
This product consists of a variable displacement radial ball piston hydraulic pump.  These pumps have earned a reputation for the highest quality and reliability.  These pumps in combination with Eaton’s Char-Lynn motors are the perfect matches for many different types of mobile equipment.
Features: Ball Piston design less sensitive to over heating, acceleration valves, wide band neutral, neutral detent, are available, aluminum cooling fins, precise single lever control, integral charge pumps.
Benefits: Proven, reliable, assure a smooth start and operator comfort, environment/temperature tolerant, can in some cases eliminate need for external cooler, eliminates complete linkages, allows for reduced reservoir size.

Medium Duty
First known as MD-CC products, Eaton medium duty closed circuit piston pumps and motors have been in production since the 1960s. Medium Duty products are best suited for applications requiring mid-range power (< 110 HP engines) and system pressures (< 380 Bar/5500 PSI). Eaton’s products meet the unique and demanding requirements of off-highway vehicles by providing continuous rotary motion at a remote location from the power source.
Variable displacement piston pumps are used in closed loop systems either as a single or tandem pump.  Oil is circulated by the pump to the motor and then returned directly to the pump.  A charge supply is used to supplement the closed loop system with oil.  The charge supply may be supplied by an internal charge pump or an external source.
Features: Self-lubricating, sealed systems, infinitely variable input speeds from zero to maximum, in both forward and reverse, allows flexibility in end use design, fluid linked system allows for hydrostatic braking, ease of operation

Heavy Duty
Eaton is a recognized leader in heavy-duty hydrostatic piston products for mobile and industrial applications. In the early 1970s, Eaton constructed a new plant to begin the volume manufacturing of the first Series 0 pumps and motors. Since then, Eaton has produced more than a million units, and introduced new product lines including the Series 1, Series 2 Heavy Duty Hydrostatic pumps.   One Lever controls direction, varies speed and provides dynamic braking.  This ease of operation, in conjunction with a wide variety of control options, allows Eaton hydrostatic pumps to be readily adapted to many applications.\
